KIDS AND ADOLESCENTS LIFE COACHING

So many parents believe their kids are struggling. Struggling with their studies at school, with their friends and social skills, with their behaviours and emotions, with their health, with their siblings and sometimes also, with their parents. If all parents were gift-granting fairies, the most cherished gift they wish to give their kids would be confidence, happiness, wisdom, health, love and even faith. If kids had all these, what more would they need in life?

Struggling is hard because you never know what’s at the end of the tunnel. …Don Rickles”

In actual fact, most parents try to give all these things but there always seems to be a breakdown in the process so that the kids just don’t know how to receive their parents’ advice, support and care.

The truth is, no matter how much we love our children or how much time we spend with them, we can’t give them self-confidence. We can’t give them self-esteem. We can’t give them success. What we can do is teach them to develop it in themselves – and this is how an experienced Kids Life Coach like me can help. With numerous years of experience working with kids and their families, I have helped several kids and teenagers develop the skills required to grow into full functioning adults.

What I will do as a Kids and Adolescents Life Coach, is to focus on the here and the now. I will focus on what happens when the child isn’t with me and I make it a priority that they will know how to cope. I work with kids in:

  • developing powerful self-esteem that doesn’t rise and fall with the ups and downs of growing up
  • developing self-leadership skills, resilience skills, emotional skills, and achievement skills
  • overcoming mistakes and failure or managing change
  • helping them make good decisions or handle peer pressure
  • helping kids to be self-responsible, have self-respect, and live with integrity
  • helping kids move past their fears and build self-confidence.

Remember that what we do with our kids during the first 12 years of their lives will impact the rest of their lives…and ours too.
